Miesha Theresa Tate ( born August 18, 1986) is an American professional mixed martial artist. Tate is currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was a former UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Tate formerly competed for Strikeforce and is a former Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was vice president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked number 10 in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings as of October 3 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was born to Michelle Tate in Tacoma (Seattle), Washington. She was raised by Robert Schmidt and Michelle. She was a teen when she was a child and often played on playgrounds with boys.
